Bonjour and Bienvenue... 

Florence Attinger is the owner and principal designer of Undefined Decor, founded in 2003 in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Originally hailing from a small town just outside of Bordeaux, France, Florence's design sensibilities have been shaped by rich childhood memories like days spent wandering the halls and vineyards of her grandfather's house in Cognac, absorbing her mother's exquisite sense of style, and watching her architect father transform his sketches into living, breathing space. 

With less concern over perfection and sterile detail, Florence believes that good, lasting design comes from deep engagement with her clients, and that understanding who they are and how they live is key in the crafting of deeply personal spaces that are both elegant and lived-in, with materials both fashionable and durable, mixing the old with the new to create an eclectic mix of pieces that appear to have been assembled over a lifetime. 

Florence has over fifteen years of collective experience throughout the various verticals of design. Since moving to San Francisco from her native France, she has managed design and home furnishings divisions for major retailers, and spearheaded countless residential and commercial interior design and staging projects. Outside of Undefined Decor, Florence currently serves as principal designer for the Marin/San Francisco division of a renowned bi-coastal luxury home staging and design firm.
